We have more than 15 years’ experience in working with SMSF and have a reputation as technical experts in our field. We provide audit services for Accountants, Financial Planners, and SMSF Administrators, with a strong emphasis on relationships and maintaining a client focus. We see ourselves as your trusted superannuation partner assisting you to improve your service offering. We are based in Melbourne with the ability to service clients nationally.

Principal

Sharif Eldebs is the founding Director of Assured Super Pty Ltd, and has over 15 years’ experience in the superannuation industry and is extremely passionate about Superannuation. Sharif has previously worked at Crowe Horwath (WHK) Melbourne for 9 years where he was responsible for the sign off of 3,500 SMSF funds and 86 APRA Regulated Funds per annum.

Sharif has a deep understanding of the SIS legislation, and has worked on some very complicated issues obtaining the most optimal outcome for clients. He is considered a technical expert in the field of Superannuation Audit and has been represented on industry committees, published author and has assisted ASIC in writing their SMSF Audit examination.

Sharif was a member of the Australian Taxation Office SMSF Audit Working Group for Super Simplification in 2007. He has been a member of the APESB SMSF Auditor Independence Taskforce in 2012 and is a current member of the Superannuation National Audit Consultative Committee which provides feedback to APRA on high level audit related matters for APRA Regulated Funds.

Sharif has also been a member of the Project Advisory Group for GS009: Auditing Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, and more recently GS002: Audit Implications of Prudential Reporting Requirements for Registered Superannuation Entities.

Sharif is a confident public speaker and has provided SMSF training for staff and clients throughout Australia for many years.

Away from work he enjoys running, playing the drums and is a passionate Hawthorn football fan. He loves almost every type of sport possible!
